When are you open?

Can I book? Do you take reservations?
We don’t take bookings right now.
Do you have gluten-free options? Where can I find information about allergens?
Our menus show which allergens are present in our dishes and drinks. We do have gluten-free options and we use different knives and tongs to prepare them but if you have a serious allergy or intolerance, our menu isn’t suitable for you as there’s a high risk of cross-contamination in our teeny, tiny kitchen.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, please! We welcome well-behaved dogs inside and outside our cafe, and have vegan dog treats for them.
Do you have any jobs? Are you recruiting? Do you have a vacancy for a back scrubber?

Do you take cash?
Sorry, we only take card payments.
What happened to the previous staff? Why were you closed for so long?
The Cheeky Vegan has new owners. The closure from summer 2023 to March 2024 was due to the previous owners not being in a position to keep the cafe running while ownership was transferred. We’ve kept the name ‘The Cheeky Vegan’ (for now) but we’re an entirely new team.
Will you bring <my favourite dish> back to the menu?
We’re a completely new team and we have our own ideas on what we’d like to do. While there’s some continuity from the old menu, we won’t be completely replicating it. We hope you’ll find new favourites even if we don’t bring your old favourite back.
